The fashion industry is responsible for throwing away/ burning 13 million tonnes of textiles every year! Bkini want to do our bit to change that!

 

Our pieces are handmade to order which means we are not producing more stock than we need. Most of our fabrics are print to order fabrics, meaning they only print what we need, and we only order what we need to complete your outfit! Each piece is high quality and made to last, so you can re-wear your items or hand them down for many others to enjoy. 

 

We also keep any scrap pieces bigger than 7 inches to make our specialty patchwork pieces (available by custom order) which means less textiles making their way to the bin!!

Sustainability is very important to us at Bkini and we are pleased to offer a wide range of fabrics and print bases containing high levels of recycled materials, including ECONYL®, a regenerated Nylon from pre-and post-consumer waste materials and recycled polyester.

 

Our recycled fabrics feature 4-way stretch in various weights with different Lycra content that provides just the right amount of support and fit for whatever your application.

Eco-friendly fabric that we know you will love!

Created using discarded materials that were 100% nylon (such as fishing nets and Tulle) this fabric is 78% Recycled polyamide and 22% Elastane and certainly meets the high quality our customers expect. This fabric can be used for endless creations including dancewear, swimwear, sportswear and underwear.
